We’re often praising the many benefits of short term car leasing, but what are the differences of short term flexible leasing and short term fixed leasing and what are the benefits of each to you the driver?
With Flexible Short Term Leasing, the clue to the benefit lies within the name. For companies that might not know how long they need a vehicle for, then the flexibility of Flexible Short Term Leasing may well be more suitable. Say for example a company has new staff members on probation, they have new cars on order, or quite simply like to change vehicles regularly, then a flexible rental provides contract leasing from just one month in duration, with even shorter periods available!
Fixed Short Term Leasing deals are not as flexible. Believe it or not, they are ‘fixed’, but they do often work out to be cheaper than flexible contract hire. Fixed Short Term Contact Hire is available on 6 month leasing deals, 7, 9 and even 12-month contracts. Generally speaking, these contracts can’t be shortened nor extended and the vehicle must be returned when requested to avoid potential penalties. Also, fixed contracts tend to involve brand new or nearly new vehicles and prices can be very competitive.
