The fourth-generation Clio is to be available to purchase this January from £10,595. Renault, like Volkswagen have updated the look of their popular car whilest only making it available with five doors. And With a new shape there is also new tech inside. There are also two new engines: an 898cc three-cylinder petrol turbo and a 90bhp 1.5-litre diesel emitting 83g/km. Buyers are able to pick between a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and a five-speed manual, while the steering is quicker and the suspension a bit firmer than on the old Clio. Some won’t like the fact there’s no three-door, but the new car should still help lift Renaultsales in the UK.
