VW Short Term Car Lease Details

Contract Details: 6 month short term car lease based on an initial payment of £1499 followed by 5 monthly payments taken by Direct Debit, additional charges may apply to alternative payment methods (See Below) Alternative profiles are available including 3+, 2+ and 1+, written quotations available on request. This will lower the initial rental but in turn make the monthly amount higher. The initial payment can be made via BACS, CHAPS or Credit/Debit cards including AMEX. Monthly Direct Debit payments will commence approx. 1 month from the date of delivery, unless otherwise agreed. The day of the month can be altered by contacting accounts, a pro-rata payment may be required to bring the dates in-line. Prices advertised includes the £100 +VAT per month discount for paying by Direct Debit

This is a fixed SHORT-TERM CAR LEASE contract and cannot be terminated early without penalties and cannot be extended without written permission before the end of the agreement. We also offer Flexible Car Leases and Car Subscription contracts, if you can’t commit to a fixed period and would like flexibility in your car lease, similar vehicles may be cheaper on these vehicle subscriptions.The vehicle must be returned in a condition as set out in our RETURN STANDARDS, any repairs must be carried out by a manufacturer approved bodyshop or supplier and guaranteed. As the hirer you are responsible for all sub-standard repairs. The return conditions of all short-term car leases are detailed within the contract. PLEASE NOTE. Rental and Short-Term Car Lease vehicles are not applicable to BVRLA fair wear and tear guidelines, we do follow the BVRLA’s Rental Code of Conduct. The vehicle must come back within the agreed contracted mileage and additional mileage will be charged as per the Excess Mileage charge on the agreement.

Charges and Admin fee’s will be applied to your account for Road Traffic Offences, Penalty Charge notices, Congestion Charges, Late Payment Fee’s and Bounced Direct Debits, all of which are listed within our agreements, a specimen copy of our charges can be read here: ADVICE OF CHARGES. If you have an electric short-term car, you may be required to register your vehicle for free city access, low emission zones or congestion charges. Delivery is Free of Charge in England and Wales, additional delivery costs may be charged for Scotland. Return of the vehicle is free of charge back to our specified de-fleet centre, where available. Collection is charged as per the contract from the point of collection to the specified de-fleet centre. We no longer charge a credit card processing fee for initial payments taken by Personal Credit, Debit or American Express cards. TAKING YOUR LEASE CAR ABROAD:

You will not have permission to take your vehicle abroad without written notification from the vehicle supplier. Before taking your vehicle abroad you will require a VE103B On-Hire Certificate, this shows that the vehice is on-hire to yourself and you have permission to take the car abroad. You will also require to provide proof of fully comprehensive insurance whilst abroad and European Breakdown Assistance. You will not be able to take the car out of the UK for any longer than 30 days and all VE103B’s are accepted on a case-by-case basis. INSURANCE

Fully comprehensive insurance must be provided by the hirer. Fleet policies are accepted so long as the vehicle is registered on the AskMid Insurance Database and showing as insured. Short Term Fixed Car Leases do not come with maintenance or tyre provision as standard and is optional, you will be given the option to add this on the order form, it is not mandatory. Please ask a member of our short term sales team for a price. All vehicles come with full manufacturers warrantyand manufacturers 24hr Breakdown Assistance. Road Fund Licence is included for the duration of the contract. Breakdown Assistance is included with the vehicles as set out by the manufacturer. No courtesy car is supplied whilst the vehicle is at dealer.
