Can I collect my vehicle?

If the is in stock, then we ask for at least 48 hours (working days) after credit acceptance to turnaround the vehicle.

Once we have confirmed your eligibility for a car subscription, our sales team will co-ordinate with you to arrange a suitable date/time for collection.

If the is being delivered, we will arrange a suitable date. Our delivery slots can be between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. We will try and call you on the morning of the delivery with an ETA. We will then also call you approx. 1 hour before.

When collection or receiving a car subscription vehicle, please ensure you have photographic ID with you.

Do you carryout credit checks?

We carry out ID verification and credit checks on all customers who are looking to take out a Car Subscription. We also carry out searches on national databases shared by the rental industry including Hireguard and RISC Online provided by the BVRLA.

If you do have bad credit, please do get in touch, as we do offer Non-status car leasing and we will take a look at all circumstances, although our terms offered, may differ from those advertised.

I've got bad credit, can I take out a car subscription service?

Our underwriters will look at all circumstances, this includes missed payments, low credit score, non-status, EXPAT’s, Overseas Workers, Ex-bankrupt ad those with CCJ’s and IVA’s.

We will also look at New Start-up Businesses, those with failed businesses and also businesses with an overseas parent company.

Our underwriters look for affordability and stability, this is both for residential status and employment status.

Our underwriters may offer terms different to those advertised on the Short Term Car Leasing Ltd website. These terms may include a higher processing fee, refundable deposit, guarantor, personal guarantees or a multiple of the above.

What if my car breaks down?

Your includes 24/7 roadside assistance and details are always provided with the vehicle at the time of delivery.

All of our cars including this are covered by the manufacturers warranty and should the unlikely event that this vehicle develops a fault during the car subscription, you can call your local dealership.

How many miles are included?

On the Short Term Car Leasing Ltd website, we display the prices for car subscriptions on 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 miles per month. We can offer up to 6,000 miles per month.

Should your vehicle go over the agreed mileage, then a charge of £ + VAT per mile will apply.

What are the return conditions on this Car Subscription?

The return conditions on this car subscription service are stricter than usual car leases.

Return Conditions on Short Term Program’s differ from those vehicles on traditional contract hire. Therefore, we like to be transparent about how the car needs to be returned. Please visit our Return Conditions page for more information and see our latest booklet on returning your vehicle.

How long can I keep the vehicle for?

The minimum term that you can keep this for is 1 month, you must inform us at least 5 working days before returning the vehicle otherwise the vehicle will automatically renew month by month until either parties give notice.

The maximum amount of time you can keep this is 12 months. At which point, the Short Term Car Leasing Ltd team will be in touch to discuss a replacement car subscription.

Do you offer Business Car Subscriptions?

Yes, we do offer Business Car Subscriptions, we even allow you to use your company fleet policy.

All prices on the car subscription pages include VAT, as a company you may be able to claim all or part of this back, as well as 100% VAT from the maintenance element.
