What vehicle services do you offer?
We offer a range of flexible vehicle solutions including car subscriptions, van subscriptions, short-term car and van leasing, flexible leasing, long-term hire, expat car leasing, and corporate vehicle rental. This allows customers to choose the right option based on flexibility, duration, and usage needs.
What is the difference between a vehicle subscription and leasing?
A vehicle subscription offers maximum flexibility, often on a month-to-month basis with simple off-hire options. Leasing is usually more structured, with fixed terms and specific vehicles. Subscriptions suit changing needs, while leasing suits defined timeframes.
Do you offer both car and van subscriptions?
Yes. We offer both car subscriptions and van subscriptions, covering a wide range of vehicles from premium cars to small, medium, and large vans, including specialist commercial vehicles where available.
What is short-term leasing?
Short-term leasing allows you to lease a vehicle for a fixed, shorter period, typically between 6 and 12 months. These agreements are tied to specific vehicles and contract lengths and cannot usually be changed once agreed.
What is flexible leasing?
Flexible leasing provides a middle ground between subscriptions and traditional leasing. Vehicles are available from one month, with easier off-hire terms and the ability to adapt month to month, often without long-term commitments.
What is long-term vehicle hire?
Long-term vehicle hire allows customers to hire a vehicle from one month upwards, often at better value than daily or weekly rental. It is commonly used by businesses that want flexibility without committing to a lease.
Are your services available to businesses and individuals?
Yes. Our services are available to both business and personal customers. Many of our solutions are particularly popular with fleet managers, startups, overseas companies, and professionals relocating to the UK.
Do you offer vehicles to expats and overseas workers?
Yes. We specialise in supporting expats, overseas workers, and companies with overseas directors or parent companies. Some products are better suited than others, and where leasing is not available, subscriptions often provide an alternative.
Is insurance included with your vehicles?
Insurance is usually not included. Hirers must provide fully comprehensive insurance or a suitable fleet policy that meets UK requirements for the duration of the agreement.
What is the minimum term on your vehicles?
Most of our flexible solutions start from one month. Short-term leases have fixed durations, while subscriptions and flexible leasing allow easier off-hire with notice.
Are maintenance and servicing included?
Maintenance and servicing are included with most subscription and hire vehicles. For flexible leasing and some lease products, maintenance may be optional depending on the vehicle and agreement.
Is road tax included?
Yes. Road tax is included across our subscription, hire, and leasing products.
Do you include breakdown assistance?
Yes. Breakdown assistance is included with the majority of our vehicles for peace of mind throughout the agreement.
What mileage allowances are available?
Generous mileage allowances are available on most vehicles. Unlimited mileage is not offered, but bespoke quotes can often be provided for higher usage, including allowances of up to 6,000 miles per month on suitable vehicles.
Do you offer electric and hybrid vehicles?
Yes. We offer petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicles across both cars and vans, subject to availability.
Are your vehicles new or used?
Vehicles are typically nearly new or well-maintained used vehicles, supplied from in-stock fleets to allow fast delivery across the UK.
Are credit checks required?
Yes. Credit checks are required for most products to set up a credit line. Bad credit is not accepted, although a UK credit history is not always essential for expats depending on the product.
Can startups and new businesses apply?
Yes. We regularly work with startups and newly formed businesses. Where traditional leasing may not be suitable, subscriptions or flexible hire options often provide a solution.
Do you offer nationwide delivery?
Yes. Vehicles are available across England, Wales, and Scotland, with delivery available nationwide.
Who supplies and supports the vehicles?
All vehicles are supplied and supported by Cocoon Vehicles, based in Derbyshire, offering a large in-stock fleet and dedicated human customer support.
